Simple games that bring people back every day
Daily word-guessing games became a worldwide habit: one short puzzle a day, easy to learn, fun to share. The same format works for brands, events, schools, language communities and media that want a light, positive reason for people to come back.
We build custom versions of this game: your word list, your word length and number of attempts, your colours and logo, and the interface language of your choice. It runs in the browser on phones and computers, can live on your own domain and can be embedded in an existing website.
Our game engine, Sutomtom, is built with React, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS on top of an open-source (MIT-licensed) word-game project. It supports any alphabet, including accented letters and letters written with several characters. We are adding more game formats that can be customised in the same way.
Who this service is for
- Brands and marketing teams looking for an engaging campaign or social-media activation.
- Events, trade shows and conferences that want a fun, branded activity.
- Schools, language teachers and language communities — including less-common languages.
- Media and publishers that want a daily puzzle to build reader loyalty.
- Companies looking for a light internal-communication or onboarding game.
What we can customise
Your words
Your own list of answers and accepted guesses — products, brand vocabulary, course words or themes.
Rules
Word length and number of attempts adapted to your audience.
Any language
A keyboard generated from your alphabet, accented letters and multi-character letters, plus a translated interface.
Your branding
Colours, logo, fonts and texts matching your brand or campaign.
Daily puzzle
A new word each day for everyone, or a fixed series for a campaign or event.
Hosting & embedding
On your own domain or subdomain, or embedded in your website.
How the game works
Players guess a hidden word in a limited number of tries. After each guess, coloured tiles show which letters are in the right place, which are in the word but misplaced, and which are not in the word.
Lightweight
A static web app: fast to load on mobile, cheap to host, no app store and no installation.
Configurable
Words, alphabet, rules and texts are set in configuration files, so new editions are quick to produce.
Extendable
Extra features — for example a sign-up form, a prize draw page or statistics — can be developed on request.
How we work
A clear, collaborative process — with one point of contact from the first call to launch and beyond.
Brief
Your audience, language, words and campaign goals.
Customisation
Word lists, rules, branding and texts configured.
Testing
You play the game on your own devices and validate it.
Launch
Published on your domain or embedded in your site, with support during the campaign.

github.com/ado-san/sutomtomFrequently asked questions
Can the game be in my language?
Yes for alphabetic languages: the keyboard is generated from your alphabet and supports accented and multi-character letters, and the interface can be translated. Character-based scripts such as Chinese need a different game design, which we are happy to discuss.
Can we use our own words?
Yes. You provide or approve the list of answers and accepted guesses, for example product names, brand vocabulary or course words.
Can you call it Wordle?
No. Wordle is a trademark of The New York Times. Your game gets its own name and visual identity.
Do players need to install anything?
No. The game runs in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers.
Can the game be embedded in our website?
Yes. It can run on your own domain or subdomain, or be embedded in an existing page.
Do you make other kinds of games?
We are adding more game formats that can be customised for clients in the same way. Tell us about your idea.
