Web apps that fit the way your business works

A website presents information; a web application lets people do things — log in, manage data, book, order or collaborate. When off-the-shelf software does not fit your process, a custom web app does.

We approach every web app as a product: clear priorities, short iterations and regular demos, so you see progress and can adjust as you learn. For start-ups, that usually means a focused MVP (minimum viable product) in front of real users first.

On the front-end we work with React and Next.js and with Vue.js; on the back-end with PHP or JavaScript and the database that fits your data.

Ado Studio is run by Adrien Lopez, a web developer and engineer who graduated from INSA Lyon in 2008. You work directly with the person who builds your project — no account managers in between.

Who this service is for

  • Start-ups that need an MVP or a first version of a SaaS product.
  • SMEs that want to replace spreadsheets and email chains with a proper tool.
  • Companies that need a client or partner portal connected to existing systems.
  • Teams with an existing web app that is slow or hard to evolve.

What we build

Client & partner portals

Secure areas where users track requests, download documents or manage their account.

Dashboards & reporting

Clear dashboards that bring data from your tools together.

SaaS products & MVPs

From idea to a first version used by real customers, then iterate.

Business tools

Booking, quoting, approvals and internal tools that remove manual work.

APIs & integrations

Connections to your CRM, payment, accounting or other third-party services.

Front-end & performance

Fast, accessible interfaces, and performance work on existing apps.

Choosing the right technical approach

The technology follows the problem. A few principles guide our choices:

Start small, ship early

Define the smallest version that delivers value, release it, and let real usage guide the next features.

Proven, maintainable stack

Widely used technologies such as React, Next.js, Vue.js and PHP, so your app is never locked to one developer.

Security by default

Authentication, user roles, input validation and backups are part of the first version — not an afterthought.

How we work

A clear, collaborative process — with one point of contact from the first call to launch and beyond.

Discovery & specs

Workshops to define users, features and priorities, written as clear user stories.

Prototype

Clickable screens to validate the experience before development.

Iterative development

Short cycles with regular demos, so you can adjust priorities.

Deployment & support

Deployment, documentation, training and ongoing improvements.

Technologies

React Next.js Vue.js JavaScript PHP REST APIs MySQL / PostgreSQL

What affects the cost

We estimate after a short discovery phase, and can split the project into phases starting with the most valuable features. Main cost factors:

  • The number of user roles, screens and features in the first version.
  • Integrations with other systems.
  • Security, data and hosting requirements.
  • Whether designs and specifications already exist.
  • Support and evolution after launch.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a website and a web application?

A website mainly presents information. A web application lets users do things — log in, manage data, book, order or collaborate — and usually connects to other systems.

What is an MVP?

A minimum viable product is the smallest version of your product that real users can use. It lets you test the idea and learn before investing in every feature.

How do you estimate the cost of a web app?

We start with a short discovery phase to define features and priorities, then give a detailed estimate. Projects can be split into phases.

Can you take over an existing application?

Yes. We start with a technical review of the code and hosting, fix urgent issues and plan improvements.

Which technologies do you use?

Mainly React, Next.js and Vue.js on the front-end and PHP or JavaScript on the back-end. We choose based on your project and your existing systems.

Can you work with teams in other time zones?

Yes. We work with clients in Asia and Europe and schedule calls and demos in your working hours.
